Beats, Rhymes & Life takes every opportunity to build and strengthen community among youth. This last year, BRL spearheaded many events including lunchtime school dance Battles, after school beat production/mc competitions, Hip Hop performance assembles, as well as a end of the year community showcase. BRL believes in promoting development within the individual as well as the community at large and connecting both through events that celebrate youth achievement, expression and the positive aspects of Hip Hop culture.
